One Fine Day

"Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." - Matthew 5:14 - 16

There's a call that's gone across the land
Only heard in the heart of man.
But that call, for some I fear,
Will be falling on deaf ears.

One fine day we'll see His glory!
One fine day we'll leave this place!
One fine day we're crossing over
And we'll see Him face to face!

What do you say to the broken hearted?
What do you say to those so dear?
Do the hungry ones hear your silence?
Or is your message lived out loud and clear?

'Cause one sad day they'll see his glory!
One sad day they'll leave this place!
One sad day they're crossing over
But will He know them when He sees them face to face?
Or will you tell them of His saving grace?

Oh, that men would praise the Lord for His goodness
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
For He satisfies their longing souls,
And fills their hungering souls with goodness
Again and again and again and again!

One fine day we'll see His glory!
One fine day we'll leave this place!
One fine day we're crossing over
And we'll see Him face to face!
Will He know them when He sees them face to face?
Will you tell them of His amazing grace?
