The Nacho Song (Not Your . . . )

Who's to say why lyricists write what they do, but some little diddy gets into their heads. It could be some catchy phrase or maybe a melody and they start humming it. Then their mind homes in on an idea, the scribbling begins, they get on a roll and the result is a song. Sometimes they are good songs, inspired, maybe even epic. Then there are the rest. I will let the reader be the judge.

If we look to scripture for our moral compass, the lesson is clear: "Don't go there!"  But many have fallen. It takes two, a man and a woman. They are both guilty as charged. (Look at Adam and Eve!) No room for excuses. Take heed. Be rude, run, but get out of there.

"To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman. Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids. For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life. Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? So he that goeth in to his neighbour’s wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent. Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry; But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house. But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul." – Proverbs 6: 24 - 32

After school one day
He spied a sweet young thing.
He’d heard that this new girl
Might carry quite a sting.
Well, she came on to him
But he was cold as ice
‘Cause  deep down in his heart, he knew
The way she wanted him
Was not so nice!

He said “No. No. No. No! I’m not your boy!
My body’s not for you!
It’s not your toy!
It wasn’t made without a plan.
It was designed by the Creator’s hand.
It didn’t crawl out of the sea,
But God breathed His breath of life in me.
My body’s not for you.  He paid for me!
So let me be!”

There was a pretty girl
And she was looking good!
She went to church on Sunday
And did all the things she should.
But a pretty boy
With a pirate’s smile
Stole her purity.
That’s all he wanted all the while!

She should have said, “No. No!
I’m not your girl!
My body’s not for you
It’s a priceless pearl.
It wasn’t made without a plan
It was designed by the Creator’s hand.
It didn’t crawl out of the sea.
But God breathed His breath of life in me.
My body’s not for you.  He paid for me!
So let me be!”

So if you’re feeling slack
“Bout hopping in the sack,
Don’t play with fire!
It is a flesh desire!
Sex isn’t, if you please,
A game you play with ease!
And if you fool around
You may end up with a real disease.

Just say, “No, No. No. No! I’m not your one!
I’ve been redeemed by God’s own Son.
I wasn’t made without a plan.
I was designed by the Creator’s hand.
I didn’t crawl out of the sea
But God breathed His breath of life in me.
My body’s not for you
He paid for me!
So, devil, let me be!”

Just say, “No, No. No. No. I’m not your boy!
My body’s not for you
It’s not your toy!
It wasn’t made without a plan
It was designed by the Creator’s hand.
It didn’t crawl out of the sea
But God breathed His breathe of life in me.
My body’s not for you.  He paid for me
So let me be!”

Just say, “No, No. No. No. I’m not your girl!
My body’s not for you!
It’s a priceless pearl.
It wasn’t made without a plan.
It was designed by the Creator’s hand.
It didn’t crawl out of the sea,
But God breathed His breath of life in me.
My body’s not for you.  He paid for me
So let me be!”
